Gladstone Robotics is a competitive robotics team from Gladstone, Oregon, taking part in a robotics program called FIRST. FIRST stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology," and was started in 1992 by Woodie Flowers and Dean Kamen. Gladstone Robotics began in the summer of 2009 and we've been working hard to build robots, a strong team, and educational opportunities for our community.

Gladstone Robotics offers students the ability to work in an educational environment that promotes hands-on experience in programming, electrical and mechanical fabrication, photography, marketing, and leadership. There are also opportunities in fields like graphic design, public relations, website development, and other aspects of media and social networking. There are many scholarship opportunities, and students will have an impressive extracurricular activity on their resumes. Even if you don't go to Gladstone High School, don't hesitate to come; our doors are open to all students wanting to join.  We meet  Thursday, 6:30- 8:30 pm in the middle shop on the east side of the school.

Come check us out and see if robotics is right for you!
